Frequently asked questions
Clear answers about what Studevia does, what it does not do, and how preparation can help students approach their visa journey with more confidence.
Honest support, real preparation value
Good preparation cannot force an approval, but it can improve the quality of the file, the clarity of the student project, and the confidence of the interview answers. That is the value Studevia focuses on.
1. Does Studevia guarantee visa approval?
No. No private platform can honestly guarantee a visa because approval is made by embassies and public authorities. Studevia helps improve preparation, reduce avoidable mistakes, and make the student more ready for questions and document review.
2. If there is no guarantee, what is the value?
A strong visa file is usually clearer, more complete, and more consistent. Studevia helps students understand missing documents, prepare explanations, practice interview answers, and avoid common preparation mistakes.
3. Who is Studevia for?
Studevia is built first for students preparing a study visa or study-residence project. It is useful when you need to organize your profile, documents, checklist, school choices, interview answers, and assistant support in one place.
4. Which languages can I use for interview preparation?
The platform interface currently focuses on English and French, while interview practice can support English, French, Spanish, Italian, and German. This helps students preparing for destinations such as France, Germany, Italy, Spain, or other countries where they may need to explain their project in another language.
5. Where can I learn how to use Studevia step by step?
After creating an account, the student guide explains the recommended order: complete your profile, upload documents, use the checklist, practice interviews, and understand when assistant support applies.
Open the student guide6. What does the assistant actually do?
Depending on the selected pack, an assistant can review documents, answer preparation questions, track follow-ups, recommend schools, and help the student understand what still needs work.
7. What does document review mean?
Document review means checking completeness, clarity, consistency, and missing items. It does not mean verifying authenticity, detecting fraud, or approving documents on behalf of an embassy.
8. How does Studevia use AI?
AI is used for preparation: interview questions, feedback, readiness summaries, and organization. It is not an embassy, lawyer, or official decision maker.
9. Who can see my profile and documents?
You can access your own workspace. An assigned assistant receives only the access needed for the support included in your pack, and that access is logged and removed when no longer needed. Restricted administrators and service providers may access limited data for support, security, storage, or service delivery. Studevia does not send your file to an embassy or school on your behalf.
10. Does the interview AI receive my passport or bank documents?
No. The interview flow is designed to send minimized text context such as destination, study-plan context, broad sponsor or funding categories, and your answers. It does not intentionally send passport images, bank statements, account numbers, names, email addresses, or Studevia user identifiers. Sensitive patterns are masked before an external AI request.
11. Can I export my data or delete my account?
Yes. After signing in, the Privacy dashboard lets you review consent choices, request a portable data export, and request account deletion. Deletion removes or anonymizes eligible active data and verifies object-storage deletion. Limited transaction, consent, security, or audit evidence may be retained where law or a documented security need requires it.
12. Is Studevia GDPR certified, and has a DPO approved it?
Studevia does not claim a blanket GDPR certification. Technical privacy controls and a DPIA working draft exist, but the future legal controller must complete the production provider register, contracts, transfer safeguards, final retention approval, and formal DPIA sign-off before handling real sensitive documents publicly. A DPO is a privacy role, while a DPIA is a risk assessment; whether a DPO must be appointed depends on the final organization and processing scale.
13. Can Studevia find schools for me?
If the selected pack includes school matching, the assistant can suggest schools or programs aligned with the student profile, budget, destination, and study project. This is guidance, not guaranteed admission.
14. Does Studevia help with accommodation, insurance, banking, or AVI resources?
Yes. Studevia can show destination resources such as accommodation platforms, insurance links, banking or AVI resources, and transport information based on the student destination country. These are useful links, not guaranteed partners or guaranteed bookings. If your pack includes accommodation guidance, your assistant can also provide more focused accommodation recommendations adapted to your city, budget, and study plan.
15. How do I know what is included in my pack?
Each pack explains what is included, such as checklist access, document workspace, interview practice, assistant review, school recommendations, or application follow-up. Services not included in a pack should not be expected from the assistant.
16. Can Studevia help with fake or modified documents?
No. Studevia does not help create fake documents, false explanations, or misleading visa material. A stronger file must be truthful, consistent, and supported by real documents.
17. Is Studevia an official government or embassy platform?
No. Studevia is a private preparation platform. Students should still follow official embassy, school, and government instructions for final requirements and submissions.
